Ashley was raised in Louisville, Kentucky where she grew up in everything musical theatre. She started performing at a young age and found her love for the arts which influenced her decision to attend the Youth Performing Arts School for high school as a Dance Major/ Musical Theatre Minor where she graduated in 2008.

She graduated as a CMA (Certified Movement Analyst) from the Laban and Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in 2013.
