ABOUT ASHLEY DELANE

Ashley DeLane was raised in Louisville, Kentucky where she grew up in everything musical theatre and competitive dance. She started performing at a 8 years old as Sleepy in Snow White and quickly found her love for the arts. She attended the Youth Performing Arts School for high school as a Dance Major / Musical Theatre Minor where she graduated in 2008.
Ashley DeLane then went on to Wagner College (Staten Island, NY) where she received her B.A. in Theater Performance and a Dance Minor. She graduated as a CMA (Certified Movement Analyst) from the Laban and Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in 2013 and followed with a year of assistanship. Ashley became a certified YogaTune Up teacher working in myofascial release and corrective movement. In 2018 she graduated from Arizona Still University with her Masters in Science majoring in Kinesiology (Corrective Exercise & Rehabilitation Concentration).
From 2014 - 2018 Ashley DeLane was a Professor at Wagner College teaching a variety of classes including Movement for the Performer I/II, Stretch and Fitness, Introduction to Acting, Jazz III/IV, Ballet I/II, Musical Theatre Dance, and Musical Theatre Styles.
She has performed, choreographed (and just recently directed) a variety of Musicals regionally over the last decade. When she is not on contract she is judging dance competitions around the country in between managing commercial real estate.
With a love for somatic practices, dancing, singing, acting, film, and choreography she is excited to continually fuse all of this education together teaching, choreographing and performing.
